Assembly of Matariki is a large-scale interactive projection work that celebrates the Aotearoa/Pacific New Year and the significance of the celestial events of Matariki and Puanga within tikanga Māori. By their movements, visitors will be able to push and swirl clouds to reveal and shroud the stars of Matariki.

The work will run between 6pm and 11pm at the corner of Oxford and Worcester in Christchurch.
Dates: 3rd - 29th July 2020

Assembly of Matariki is proudly supported by Christchurch City Council’s Enliven Places Projects Fund, Development Christchurch Limited, Creative New Zealand and Spectrum Lighting and Sound.
