Pacific Motion is a generative projection work we beamed onto New Brighton’s landmark 100-year-old Macrocarpa tree. Viewers were wowed as the light continuously evolved with colour and movement. Content for the work was created in real time on the AbstractLive platform, and used bespoke algorithms that were driven by footage of waves from the surrounding area.
